Side Income

The Side Income is a very important aspect of creating a passive income, especially if you are employed and have very little time to devote to a second income source.

Many choose to bus tables, bartend, or even deliver pizzas to create a side income, but this often does not get them any closer to building wealth with passive income. In order to develop a passive income with a side gig, one must select an occupation that might not be passive in the initial stages, but can be turned passive later in life.

Developing a website or blog would be an example of a side-gig that could be turned passive. It takes some time to build and monetize, but once it becomes popular, it can easily be set on cruise control with little efforts whatsoever.

One could create passive income by writing a book. This would actually yield no income in the early stages, but once the book is complete and on the shelves, all of the income flows your way with no additional work.

Another side income could be mowing lawns. In the initial stages, you’ll most likely have one mower and no employees (which would not be passive at all), but once your business is grown, you can simply hire others to do the work while still earning a decent passive income.
